3D printing is becoming very popular. 3D printing provides a way to turn digital artwork and CAD designs into solid objects.
Artists who work with 3D design software can now turn their work into solid sculptures. Cosplayers can design and print accessories and components for their costumes.
I can show people how to use free 3D design software to create items that can be 3D printed.

Some time in May 2014, the City of Ottawa Public Library will have two 3D printers available for public use.
