I'm looking for a person or two to help me out with my presentation.
This panel is intended to introduce (or re-introduce) the series to people who are just becoming interested with the new anime coming out.
We will be discussing:
-what Sailor Moon is
-why we like it, and why we feel it is popular and so recognizable
-who Naoko Takeuchi is
-the different versions of Sailor Moon (manga, 90s anime, musicals, live-action, and what we know about the 2014 anime so far)
-brief history of SM in Japan and in North America
-the Sailor Senshi, and the mythology that influenced their creation
-the English dub of Sailor Moon
--who is DiC, who is Cloverway, and what are the differences between the two dubs?
--a short list of edits and changes made in the English dub
-if possible (i.e. if a fellow panelist knows), a bit about the French dub for our Francophone friends
This will be rated G to 13+. In other words, this is for everyone, and we're not going to be discussing "that" side of Sailor Moon fandom.
